Tom Cruise wears unique Oakley ECLP23 goggles in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023).

The Oakley ECLP23 goggles have been created exclusively for the movie thanks to a collaboration with actor Tom Cruise himself.

Unfortunately these goggles are not offered for sale. A version may be released soon (stay tuned) and another custom pair is on the way for next year's Dead Reckoning Part 2 according to a GQ article.

Cruise's character Ethan Hunt wears the goggles during the most famous stunt of the film, when he's riding a motorcycle to chase a train and eventually jumps over a cliff and parachutes to the ground.

The goggles are characterized by a transparent design that is meant to provide impressive protection when exposed to high-speed environments and debris. Free of any frame, the prototype is completely transparent and has a shield-like shape, offering an expanded field of view, and a Zero Gravity feel.

To ensure the glasses stayed in place during the stunt, they were custom fit to the actor's face

The Oakley ECLP23 eyewear design doesn't feature the usual arms and hinges that glasses are traditionally known for, but instead features an elastic strap. The goggles feature subtle branding at the temples with Oakley's O insignia.

Other eyewear in the film

In the same film, Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt also wears Cartier sunglasses. Ilsa (played by Rebecca Ferguson) wears Oakley SI Ballistic goggles in the desert scene, and Gabriel (Esai Morales) wears Ray-Ban RB3025 Aviator sunglasses in the airport scene. Denlinger (played by Cary Elwes) wears Oliver Peoples Riley OV5004 eyeglasses in the film.
