Tom Cruise wears Cartier CT0038S Santos de Cartier aviator sunglasses in Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One (2023).

The glasses can be spotted up in the movie trailer and on some set photos, and can be seen clearly in the first part of the film.

The glasses worn by Tom Cruise are the Gold / Ruthenium model (update: probably color code 007, which has a blue mirror effect on the inner lens, but the color code 003 is a very similar pair), with the metal color frame and gold screws, and a very fine gold rim on the front of the frame. Brushed precious finish in contrast to smooth precious finish screws Cartier logo engraved on temples and Double C Décor signature on nose pads.

The Cartier CT0038S sunglasses have a small leather piece on the nose bridge, symbol of Santos de Cartier collection, but that leather piece has been removed from Tom Cruise's Cartier CT0038S sunglasses in the film.

Like most Cartier eyewear pieces, these Cartier CT0038S sunglasses are high-priced glasses, with a retail price of over $1000.

Currently these are very hard to find.

The Cartier CT0038S at Pret A Voir ($925, out of stock) and on Saks Fifth Avenue ($1095, in stock).

UPDATE JUNE 2023: I'm offering a pair of Cartier CT0038S 003 Santos de Cartier sunglasses for $850 + shipping or best offer (only within the United States). Send a message if you're interested and I can send you pictures (update August 2023: these are reserved.)

This model is also available in the following colors: Black (color code 001), full Gold frame and Black leather (color code 016); Black and Ruthenium frame (color code 005, as worn by Cristiano Ronaldo); Gold, Burgundy and Black (code 009), Gold frame and Brown Leather and Brown Gradient Frame (code 012) - some of which are available at Pret A Voir ($925).

You can also try eBay (only buy from trusted sellers), where there usually are a few available.

Note that there might be 2 sizes: 59mm lens and 61mm lens, although this is not confirmed.

Alternative sunglasses

To get the same look you can also go for the classic Ray-Ban RB3025 Aviator sunglasses, which Tom Cruise famously wore in the Top Gun and Top Gun Maverick movies.

The model with silver frame and silver mirror lenses (see image above on the left) or grey gradient lens (right) is a great alternative, see the RB3025 on Amazon, starting at $163.

More eyewear in the film

Tom Cruise as Ethan Hunt also wears a pair of custom Oakley goggles, read more here.
