Many visitors of SunglassesID have been asking about the sunglasses worn by actor Fernando Guillén Cuervo, as the Colonel of Police, in the 2008 movie Quantum of Solace.

SunglassesID has finally identified these sunglasses thanks to a visitor of the website. These glasses are vintage Boris Becker sunglasses from the 1980s, model 4804C. Quite extreme in shape, these glasses are now very hard to find and might only be available via places like eBay or a specialised Vintage Sunglasses shop. The glasses are gold frame, with brown lenses (not the blue/green lenses as seen in the pictures on the left).

Boris Becker, the famous tennis player, gave his name to 4 different styles of sunglasses in the 80's produced by Polaroid. All 4 styles came in 3 different colorways and each with changeable lenses in this brown and a dark gray/greenish one. The colors of the frames are gold, silver or black.

The same model of sunglasses has also been spotted with a different brand name "Italian Graffiti", another vintage sunglasses brand.

Thanks to Michael Blayney for the ID and Initial M Sunglasses for the images of the Boris Becker sunglasses
