In the movie The Mechanic, a remake of the 1972 movie of the same name, Jason Statham wears a pair of sunglasses which have been identified in the comments below as ic! berlin kjell sunglasses.
ic! berlin Kjell glasses were not available anymore, but due to the appearance in the film, ic! berlin decided to reproduce this model in a limited run. 50 pieces of kjell with a gun metal frame and brown/sand lenses (as seen in the movie) will be available at the beginning of May 2011, from select opticians and the shop on Max-Beer-str. 17 in Berlin, Germany.

Thanks everyone for all the postings and the ID. I have updated the information!
It's an ic! berlin model kjell
Anyone know of any sunglasses that look similar to these but are cheaper? Not looking to spend hundreds...
The Jason Statham's sunglasses in the movie "The Mechanic' are certainly Ic! Berlin Kjell. Look at this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.it/IC-BERLIN-KJELL-GOLD-SUNGLASSES-OCCHIALI-DA-SOLE-/280611650358#ht_519wt_1139
gonna sell my pair of dez in taipei gun metal.

OK folks, ic! Berlin confirm that the glasses are indeed Aaro sunglasses-gradient brown sand. They are from the special edition series "dez in taipei" and are temporarily out of stock due to popularity following the release of The Mechanic...price is quoted at USD420 a pair.
Yes, they do appear to be made by ic! berlin (confirmed by the "grill" see on the side arms). Howewer, if u watch the scene at the cemetery near the start of the movie, you get lots of close-ups and you can see that the 2 wires on the bridge of the nose are very straight and very short. Therefore, it can not be the Quirin or Aaro as mentioned above...I have emailed iC! berlin for their input...
These are ic! berlin - dez. in taipei. They are limited edition. I'm not sure you can get them out of Taiwan.
What about the glasses that Ben Foster wears in the mechanic? Anyone?
how about ic! berlin
M4058 ahmad ???
I believe these might actually be the IC! Berlin Aaro model. They fit the frame better and also have a larger gap in the bridge piece that sits over the nose. 99% sure
I'm hesitant to call them the Quirin. If you look at the bridge piece, the quirin has very little space between the two pieces while Statham's sunglasses have a more pronounced gap.
Also, the lenses of Statham's look rimless instead of rimmed.
I will agree that they look to be IC! berlins as they all have IC's trademark "grill" on the temples which seem to be evident in Statham's pair as well
Thanks.. Lol.. I just saw a couple of pairs online on ebay.. Crazy.. I may get me another pair also..
YES! your amazing lol..where do you think i can find an authentic set online at the cheapest price?
Correct, They are the IC! Berlin Quirin Sunglasses. They Range around the 400-450 Area. I have seen them as low as 245-275.00 Here in SF. Awesome shades and Nice choice Jason!
where did you purchase them at?
Yes, these are indeed ic-berlin! I have this pair. I do not know what model they are, but since I have them, I was so surprised to see them! They're so rare!
The Brand is definitely ic-berlin(check screwless brackets and the plastic components)but i can't recognize the model.I already own 2 models of this brand.
Is it possible these are made by Gunnar Optics?
