Danny Glover is an American actor, film director and political activist. One of his most momorable roles was his role as LAPD Detective Roger Murtaugh in the Lethal Weapon film franchise, next to Mel Gibson. Glover usually portrays a cop: his appearance in Shooter was the 15th time he had appeared as a character who works in law enforcement and/or the military.
