Bob Dylan is an American singer-songwriter, musician and artist. He has been an influential figure in popular music and culture for five decades. In May 2012 he was honored with the Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor in the United States. During the ceremony for the medal, Dylan wore Randolph Engineering sunglasses.
