In 1998, Richard Walker was given the opportunity to design the sunglasses for the principal characters in The Matrix. Walker created the custom sunglass styles for the three leading actresses in Charlie’s Angels and the quintessential hero sunglass for Angelina Jolie in Tomb Raider. He returned to The Matrix as the sunglass designer for the sequel films The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix: Revolutions.
